Ion Moraru projects his personal features into his paintings – generosity, lyrics, nostalgy, confidence in human values. The artist combines the ability to perpetually innovate the style with the maintenance of a constant level and continuity in expression and interpretation.
In 2001 Ion Moraru achieved the INS status of permanent resident of USA, section of Alien with Extraordinary Ability.
He is the recipient of numerous awards including:
- — Honorable Diploma of the European Academy of Arts, Bruxelles, Belgium.
- — Silver Medal for innovation in the watercolors techniques awarded at the world Exhibition “Eureca-97”, Bruxelles, Belgium.
- — Master of Fine Arts, Patent 0775, signed by the president of Moldova.
